We are a rapidly growing, small animal veterinary clinic equipped with state of the art equipment and a great staff. Not only are we extremely hands on inside the clinic, but we like to be involved in community events as well. We provide complete medical, surgical, and dental care for pets and pride ourselves on taking time to educate our clients about their pet’s health. Job duties include:

Scheduling grooming appointments with clients
Answering grooming phone calls and answering client questions regarding grooming
Checking in grooming patients
Checking medical records to ensure patient have required vaccinations prior to grooming appointments
Invoicing and checking out grooming patients
Performing complete grooming services on dogs and cats including bathing, drying, nail trimming, hair cuts and styling of various breeds.
Offering additional services including brushing pets teeth, shampoo upgrades, nail polish, etc.
Checking over all patients for any medical concerns that may need to be addressed by the veterinarian including skin infections, ear infections, and allergies.
Communicating with owners on pets groom, instructing on home care, making sure clients are happy with their pets completed groom.
Handling all pets gently and with respect.
Attending weekly staff meetings
Keeping the grooming areas clean, organized, and sanitized.

We provide you with a constant flow of clients, bathing areas, cages, kennels. You provide your own grooming table, tools, shampoos, and supplies.

You must be comfortable with people and possess good communication skills. Part of this position also entails client education as well as reinforcing the doctor’s recommendations.
