What You'll Be Doing as a Pet Groomer:
- Providing top-quality grooming services including nail trimming, brushing, flea combing, bathing, and conditioning
- Customizing grooming styles based on clients’ requests while adhering to breed standards
- Ensuring that every pet and customer experience is exceptional, helping us grow and retain our loyal clientele
- Participating in ongoing safety and grooming training to stay at the top of your game
- Keeping the grooming environment clean, safe, and inviting for both pets and clients
- Handling pets with the utmost care, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Building strong relationships with pet owners by understanding their needs and offering personalized care
- Recommending products and services that help maintain pets’ grooming and overall well-being
What We’re Looking For in a Pet Groomer:
- Experience in grooming preferred, with formal training and/or mentorship under an established certified groomer; however we are open to training if someone is the perfect fit for the team
- Must pass MVR
- A passion for pets and dog breeds of all kinds
- Ability to take and apply constructive feedback
- An approachable personality with a strong focus on delivering a positive client experience
- Patience and empathy when working with pets
- Physical ability to lift, stand, or bend for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
