We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mobile Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and experience in providing high-quality grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering exceptional customer service to pet owners. Your role will involve grooming various breeds of dogs and cats, maintaining a clean work environment in our mobile grooming spa, and building lasting relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

Provide professional grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and cats.
Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
Maintain cleanliness of the grooming area, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment for pets.
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ grooming needs and any health concerns observed during grooming.
Handle animals safely and compassionately while ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
Stay updated on the latest grooming trends and techniques to provide the best service possible.
Collaborate with our team to enhance overall customer experience and pet care.

Qualifications

Proven experience in pet grooming is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Knowledge of various dog breeds, coat types, and appropriate grooming techniques.
Experience in animal handling and dog handling is essential.
Certification in veterinary technology or as a veterinary technician is a plus but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being.
Excellent driving record and proof of insurance required.
