We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that meet our clients' expectations. This role requires both technical skills in grooming and excellent customer service abilities to create a positive experience for both pets and their owners.

Duties

Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats.
Utilize appropriate grooming tools and techniques to ensure the safety and comfort of the animals.
Assess the condition of each pet's coat and skin, identifying any potential health issues that may require further attention.
Maintain cleanliness in the grooming area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and organized after each use.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and grooming options.
Handle pets safely using animal restraint techniques to minimize stress during the grooming process.
Educate pet owners on proper pet care practices, including grooming maintenance between visits.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and high standards of care within the facility.

Experience

Previous experience in pet grooming or a related field is mandatory.
Familiarity with kennel operations, animal handling, and dog training is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service to build rapport with clients and their pets.
Knowledge of animal behavior and restraint techniques to ensure safe handling during grooming sessions.
A background in veterinary care or animal care is a plus but not required.
