We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and the skills necessary to provide exceptional grooming services. This role involves working closely with pets and their owners, ensuring that each pet receives the highest level of care and attention. As a Pet Groomer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the health and well-being of our furry clients while providing a positive experience for their owners.

Duties

Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets according to breed standards and client preferences.
Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, identifying any issues that may require veterinary attention.
Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, including tools and equipment.
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any observations made during the grooming process.
Provide basic pet care services such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing.

Qualifications

Previous experience in pet grooming or related fields such as veterinary assistance or animal handling is preferred.
Knowledge of various dog breeds and grooming techniques is essential.
Strong skills in dog handling.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members.
A compassionate attitude towards animals, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $200.00 - $300.00 per day

Expected hours: 10 – 18 per week
