Do you love dogs??
I don’t mean you “like dogs” or feel that dogs are “fine, I guess.” No, I mean you LOVE dogs. To you, dogs are the greatest things in the world. You probably like most dogs better than you like most people. You’ve said the phrase “Can I pet your dog?” to more strangers than you could possibly count.
You believe that dogs make life better.
Are you looking to begin a new career involving dogs? Are you ready to learn more about body language, play styles and dog behavior? Are you thinking about going to Vet Tech or Vet assistant school? If you answered yes to any of these, then this is the job for you!
Dogtopia Geneva has an opening for an energetic, organized, dog loving individual that will be responsible for managing and maintaining a safe playroom environment for our furry friends.
If all that sounds like you, we should talk. We’re looking for exceptional dog lovers to become Canine Coaches at our Geneva location. We have availability for both our morning and our afternoon/evening shifts. We’ll provide all the training, which is extensive. You provide:
- Consistent and timely attendance
- A friendly attitude
- A willingness to work hard, improve, and pitch in for the team
- The ability to spend 100% of the time standing and handle up to 100lb dogs
- The love, affection, play, caring, and romping for our four-legged friends!
- A willingness to always keep our environment clean and safe
- Completion of Dogtopia’s training program
Your role is to care for all our dogs as if they are family…because they are. You’ll work in air-conditioned, indoor playrooms, and outside yards. Once you become a part of our Dogtopia team, you can bring 1 dog to work with you, too.
Successful team members are always aware of their environment and consistently attend to the ever-changing pack environment and special needs of each dog. This position requires a high level of responsibility as we are caring for the lives of animals and monitoring and maintaining a safe environment. This is a dirty job and HARD work which requires being self-sufficient.
