Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our award winning team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring that pets look their best while also maintaining their health and well-being. This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to handle various breeds and temperaments of animals.

Responsibilities

Perform grooming services including bathing if our provided bather is busy, clipping, and styling pets according to breed standards and client preferences.
Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, identifying any health issues that may require veterinary attention.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about grooming options, care tips, and any concerns regarding their pets.
Handle animals safely and comfortably during grooming sessions, using proper restraint techniques as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques and trends to provide high-quality services.

Qualifications

2 years Experience in Pet grooming salon a must.
Strong knowledge of various dog breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
Ability to handle animals safely, including experience with animal restraint techniques.
Physical capability to perform heavy lifting as required during grooming sessions.
Passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
