Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for Dogtopia of Long Island City, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have strong office management skills and be proficient in computer literacy while also serving a warm, friendly environment for the clients
Duties:
-Cleaning may include, mopping after urine, picking up feces, sweeping, and taking out the trash.
-Leashing up dogs and bringing them to their owner or taking dogs from the owner to bring into their assigned playroom
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Perform clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and transcribing
- Assist with administrative duties as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Handling wellness packages
- Provide support to other departments as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or similar role
- Proficient in computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Must be enthusiastic and friendly
-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Previous experience in a dog daycare is a plus
-Be able to take on any additional tasks required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
