Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dog Groomer to join our team. As a Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services to our canine clients, ensuring they look and feel their best. You will work closely with pet owners to understand their preferences and provide top-quality grooming services in a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities
· Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling dogs according to breed standards and client requests.
· Inspect dogs for any signs of health issues, such as skin conditions or parasites, and report findings to the pet owners.
· Maintain a clean and organized grooming area.
· Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
· Handle dogs with care and patience, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the grooming process.
· Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques, products, and industry trends.
Requirements
· Proven experience as a Dog Groomer or relevant training/certification in pet grooming.
· Knowledge of different dog breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments with confidence and compassion.
· Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy dogs when necessary.
· Attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
