We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and experience in pet grooming, ensuring that each pet receives the highest level of care and attention. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services to a variety of pets, enhancing their appearance while ensuring their comfort and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and other pets.
- Assess the condition of each pet's coat and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all grooming tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets’ grooming needs and any health concerns observed during grooming sessions.
- Handle pets with care, employing proper restraint techniques to ensure their safety during grooming.
- Provide additional pet care services as needed, such as ear cleaning or teeth brushing.
- Stay updated on the latest grooming trends and techniques to provide exceptional service.
Experience
- Previous experience in pet grooming is Required.
- Familiarity with kennel operations, equine care, or animal restraint is a plus.
- Experience in pet care or pet sitting can enhance your application.
- Knowledge of dog training techniques is beneficial but not required.
