We are seeking dedicated and passionate Pet Groomers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that meet our clients' expectations. This role requires both technical skills and a compassionate approach to animal care.
Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling for various breeds of dogs and cats.
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, identifying any issues that may require veterinary attention.
- Handle pets safely and effectively, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, including tools and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets’ needs and grooming options.
- Assist with pet sitting as needed, ensuring pets are cared for in their home environment.
- Engage in heavy lifting when necessary, moving larger animals or equipment safely.
- Stay informed about the latest grooming techniques and trends to enhance service offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience in pet grooming
- Strong skills in animal handling and restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and staff
- A genuine passion for animal care and well-being is essential.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and their pets.
