Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Dog Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of grooming, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle various breeds and temperaments with care.

Responsibilities

Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and cats.
Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to recommend appropriate grooming techniques and products.
Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pet's grooming needs and any health concerns observed during grooming.
Handle pets safely using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure their comfort and safety.
Provide exceptional customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Have knowledge of different breeds and breed cuts

Qualifications

Previous experience in pet grooming is required
Strong knowledge of pet care practices, including animal handling and restraint techniques.
3-5 years professional grooming required.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
Ability to lift heavy animals comfortably as required during the grooming process.
Passion for dogs and a commitment to ensuring the well-being of all pets handled.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including Saturdays if necessary.
